It has been my honor to serve on Brentwood City Council since being elected in 2020, and as your Vice Mayor for the last two years. During my time on council, I've endeavored to be a part of the balance that recognizes the promise of Brentwood's future, without losing touch with its past.
I’ve got a proven track record, and I’m proud of my initiatives and votes, including:
Fighting to maintain smart growth that aligns with our General Plan, to ensure that inclusionary affordable housing and city-wide infrastructure remain a priority.
Holding a seat on the Agricultural Enterprise Committee- promoting agritourism, championing our future Ag Innovation Center, and protecting and building on our agricultural legacy.
Working tirelessly to make strides towards the realization of the Innovation Center @ Brentwood, leading the way with Costco, which will bring substantial tax revenue starting in 2025.
Launching our first Community Day of Service, bringing together over 700 resident volunteers in support of nonprofits that offer resources in our city.
Supporting public safety by voting to approve our 5th beat and other funding requests made by our police department.
Voting in support of Downtown Brentwood Coalition initiatives, including funding the Executive Director position and other economic development efforts.
As your Mayor, I will continue to support resident-driven initiatives such as Measure Q - protecting our parks and open spaces. I will continue to advocate for transparency and accountability in governance and increased accessibility and representation through the Aging and Disabilities Committee that I initiated. I will continue to promote economic development that will bring quality paying jobs to our city so our residents can commute less and spend more time with their families. And I will continue to focus on building up our community by supporting local nonprofits, being an advocate for increased resources, and recognizing and celebrating our city’s growing diversity.
